Garden Education
It’s been said that it only takes two generations for a skill to be lost. I am a strong believer in teaching ourselves and our youth how to grow food so we are not so dependent on a store for the very thing that keeps us alive and well. An avid gardener for more than 20 years, I offer multiple options to discover a better way to garden. It should have to be complicated to grow your own food, and there should most definitely be beauty to behold along the way.
What Am I Growing?
I LOVE to experiement in the garden. I truly am astonished at the incredible diversity of plants that exist on this earth, and I want to grow them all. If I had the resources, I would construct a massive green house so I could do just that. Since I don’t have that, I experiment by way of fruits and vegetables that will either survive the harsh Minnesota winters or produce a harvest for me during the growing season.
